For lighter attachments, or while determining ideal mounting locations temporarily, large, flat, smooth vertical and horizontal surface areas above, below and on the sides can be used with adhesive-based mounts like Velcro or tape to secure equipment.
Clips are another convenient option to attach equipment to the side edges.
For heavier payloads, center the weight to maximize flight time and handling by attaching our universal payload interface that secures to the bottom of the frame in 4 places.

Our design engineers can modify the base FreeBird One CAD model in real-time to meet special customer requirements such as a built-in interface for a specific type of payload or even simply develop an adapter to facilitate mounting specific equipment onto the standard FreeBird One mounting locations.
Modifications can be made just prior to sending the model to the printers for production and then assembled and shipped in nearly the same timeframe as a standard model (depending on the complexities of the modifications).
Since FreeBird One is modular, we can customize a specific part of set or parts at a later time as well if the need arises after the unit has been put into service. Modified parts can easily be shipped to and replaced by the customer, or units can be shipped back to FreeBird Flight for the modifications.
