For lighter attachments, or while determining ideal mounting locations temporarily, large, flat, smooth vertical and horizontal surface areas above, below and on the sides can be used with adhesive-based mounts like Velcro or tape to secure equipment.
Clips are another convenient option to attach equipment to the side edges.
For heavier payloads, center the weight to maximize flight time and handling by attaching our universal payload interface that secures to the bottom of the frame in 4 places.

PROTECTIVE COVERS ARE EASILY REMOVED TO GET ACCESS TO YOUR ELECTRONICS IN LARGE STORAGE BAYS AND FLIGHT ELECTRONICS IN THE CENTER.
When secured, the covers will keep all electronic components dry in rain or snow.
If weather conditions permit, leave the covers behind to reduce weight and increase flight time if you choose.

THE UNIVERSAL BATTERY "CLAWS" WILL GRAB ONTO ANY BATTERY PACK (OR MULTIPLE PACKS) YOU WANT TO USE. NO NEED TO OVER-PAY FOR PROPRIETARY BATTERIES FOR PROPRIETARY BATTERY COMPARTMENTS.

WE PRODUCE FREEBIRD ONE UNITS ON OUR OWN "PRINTER FARM" IN REAL-TIME IN THE U.S. TO MEET CUSTOMER DEMAND WITH A DELIVERY GOAL OF 1-3 DAYS DEPENDING ON PRINTER UTILIZATION RATES.

Our design engineers can modify the base FreeBird One CAD model in real-time to meet special customer requirements such as a built-in interface for a specific type of payload or even simply develop an adapter to facilitate mounting specific equipment onto the standard FreeBird One mounting locations.
Modifications can be made just prior to sending the model to the printers for production and then assembled and shipped in nearly the same timeframe as a standard model (depending on the complexities of the modifications).
Since FreeBird One is modular, we can customize a specific part of set or parts at a later time as well if the need arises after the unit has been put into service. Modified parts can easily be shipped to and replaced by the customer, or units can be shipped back to FreeBird Flight for the modifications.

Our inventory consists of spools of carbon fiber filament that we can turn into a production or replacement part on demand at any time for immediate shipment.

In just a few short hours, the CAD model (below) including any modifications requested by the customer, turns into the actual flying aircraft (also below) during our post-assembly flight test that we perform prior to shipping each unit.
